Xiamen Internet Domain Name Application Service Industry Association Officially Established

Association Overview

The Xiamen Internet Domain Name Application Service Industry Association was established on June 29, 2022. It was jointly initiated by five leading enterprises in Xiamen engaged in the internet domain name-related industry and operates under the professional guidance and supervision of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, its business governing authority, and the Xiamen Civil Affairs Bureau, its registration administration authority. The association is a local, collective, and non-profit social organization composed of enterprises, institutions, and individuals in Xiamen involved in the internet domain name industry. It currently has 41 institutional members. The current president of the association is Zeng Xianzhang, Chairman of Xiamen NaWang Technology Co., Ltd.


Members of the Xiamen Internet Domain Name Application Service Industry Association are duly established enterprises, institutions, and individuals related to the internet domain name industry, who are willing to join the association and abide by its charter.

Mission of the Xiamen Internet Domain Name Application Service Industry Association
The Association upholds the comprehensive leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC). In accordance with the provisions of the CPC Constitution, a CPC organization has been established within the Association to carry out Party activities, and the necessary conditions are provided for these activities. The Association adheres to the Constitution, laws, regulations, and national policies, practices core socialist values, and follows social morality. Guided by the basic theory and line of the CPC, the Association aims to provide members with higher quality and richer industrial information; serve member enterprises; standardize and coordinate member enterprises; safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members; and promote the healthy and orderly development of the domain name industry.
Primary Work of the Xiamen Internet Domain Name Application Service Industry Association
1、Conduct publicity and education on policies, laws, and regulations related to the domain name industry; safeguard the overall interests of the domain name industry and the legitimate rights and interests of users; and protect national and personal information network security.

2、Promote communication and collaboration among members, explore development directions for the domain name industry, and foster a healthy and orderly development of the domain name industry ecosystem.

3、Participate in the formulation of standards or industry association standards related to internet domain names, and actively engage in technical exchanges and cooperation concerning internet domain name-related products.

4、Organize professional training for members related to the domain name industry to enhance the professional competence of practitioners.

5、Organize public welfare activities related to the domain name industry for members, guide internet users in civilized online behavior, and assist relevant authorities in purifying the online environment.

6、Undertake tasks delegated by relevant government departments.

7、Build platforms for exchange and cooperation, promote the practical application of internet domain names, facilitate the healthy development of the internet domain name industry, and contribute to the secure and stable operation of the internet domain name system.

8、Invite relevant management departments from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), international organizations like ICANN, internationally renowned organizations or individuals in the domain name industry, domain name registry operators, domain name registrars, and other authoritative bodies to build exchange platforms for the domain name industry and provide services such as lectures, salons, training sessions, and exhibitions related to the domain name industry.

9、Strengthen information sharing within the domain name industry, enhance exchanges with related domestic industries such as e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, industrial internet, internet of things, and metaverse, and contribute to promoting the economic and social informatization process of Xiamen.
